Custom Hot Wheels • Diecast Builds • Works in Progress
I build custom Hot Wheels and diecast cars, from paint and wheel swaps to more involved projects. I enjoy experimenting with different finishes, trying new techniques, and seeing how far I can take each build.
I'm always learning and improving, and I want every finished car to be something I'm proud to put my name on.
Hi, I'm Cody, the builder behind TacoBob's Custom Garage.
I've always enjoyed working with my hands, learning how things work, and being creative. Over the years, I've spent a lot of time painting RC bodies, building scale models and rockets, and learning new skills along the way. I grew up around Hot Wheels and Customizing diecast cars has become another way for me to put those skills to use.
I enjoy trying different paints, finishes, wheels, and techniques. I'm always learning new techniques and finding better ways of doing things, and I try to improve with every build.
Here you'll find finished customs, projects I'm working on, and a look at what goes on behind the scenes as I continue building TacoBob's Custom Garage.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work!
Cody (Aka TacoBob)
Welcome to the garage.
I gave this old Willys a fresh coat of paint and swapped out the wheels. I wanted to keep that classic look while giving it a little of my own style.
I went with graphite metallic paint and black wheels on this Chevy. I really like how the darker colors work together on this truck.
I swapped the wheels for a gold set to go with the 7-Eleven livery. It's a pretty simple change, but I think it really suits the car.
